R5200-00

The Cape Town 2025 Clinical Course is designed to prepare candidates for the OSCE component of the FCA(SA) Part 2 examinations. The first semester Clinical course in Cape Town caters for candidates intending to write the first semester FCA 2 exam of the CMSA.

By simulating exam conditions, this intensive three day course will include lectures, exam skill workshops, paper case presentations, and mock OSCE evaluations. Each candidate will be expected to present paper cases and will get exposed to mock OSCE evaluations led by variety of examiners. These examiners are made up of local, and national specialists from both the public and private sectors.

The virtual course will be hosted online from 5 - 7 March 2025.  The virtual course format is intended to simulate the exam conditions for the 2025 first semester FCA 2 examination.

Attendance numbers will be restricted to allow for a richer learning experience for participants. Preference for acceptance on the course will be given to semester one 2025 FCA(SA) Part 2 exam candidates. Priority shall be given to candidates who have never attended a clinical course previously.

The organisers reserve the right to restrict the total number of local registrars attending the course consequent upon the other departmental responsibilities being met.
